WWDC17 Recap

Apple began there conference WWDC17 with a video:

The conference is divided into 6 sections and now we will talk about each section in detail and the most important thing mentioned in the conference.

I: Apple TV (tvOS)

Apple announced that amazon is coming to the TV app and all Apple TVs with amazon prime video.

It will be available later this year.

II: Apple Watch (watchOS)

Apple announced about the watchOS 4.

Apple mention that the apple watch is the most selling watch in the world with best customer satisfaction.

There is new faces for the apple watch there is siri face.

Siri study the habits of the user daily to later offer some suggestions to the user based on the habits of the day.

There is information about sunrise, sunset and flight schedules.

There is also an interface of kaleidoscope.

The last interface is a Toy Story characters face (Woody / Jesse / Baz).

Apple has updated the application interface and added recognition when it reaches the edge of the pool to automatically record its cycle.

The new watch system can connect with some sports equipment that has the NFC reading feature so that the watch exchange information with the walking device to be recorded in the clock to be accurate.

Also announced the new music application that connects to your account on Apple music service and supports playlists.

And also announced the news app so that you can follow the news or add the news for later reading and read it from the phone.

III: Mac (MacOS)

• MacOS High Sierra system

Apple announced the release of the new Mac system is called MacOS High Sierra.

Apple has developed Safari browser so that it became faster in dealing 80% compared to Chrome browser.

There is a new Safari feature that prevents videos from being played automatically and is optimized to prevent user tracking when browsing.

Apple has also developed Mail app where it has put important messages on top and there is a split screen feature between creating a new message and incoming mail.

Another application that got updated was the Photos app where it got a side bar and a better image sorting list for the search and also got new editing tools including Curves to adjust contrast and color.

A new file system that works by default and replaces with APFS system and offers a new system greater protection from downtime, collapse, protection and encryption embedded.

The system supports HEVC H.265 technology and supports 4K and 40% better than H.264 for video file compression, resulting in less space and better quality.

The new version of Metal was released as Metal 2.

• MacBook

Specifications:

27-inch Retina 5K display, 4TB Storage, Processor Xeon 18 cores, 16GB Graphics card, and up to 128GB Memory.

It will be available in December/2017.

IV: iOS

The new iOS 11 system comes with many advantages.

iMessage App was updated with a new design, with a shortcut drawer.

Sync becomes better when you delete a message from any device that will be deleted from other devices as well.

Backups have been optimized to take up less space with faster recovery.

V: iPad Pro

Apple announced at the conference a new iPad measuring 10.5 inches.
